Bought a new bed frame after 14 years!
Had the Oak frame since August 2011, when I moved out of my parent's into a rented flat.
On Friday, the Madison Ottoman Storage Bed in Ecru from dusk.com was delivered 😍
Then I found the chest of drawers i wanted in the sale at Dusk, and they come in April to also replace the Ikea ones I've had since living at the flat!

I absolutely adore the sunlight that shines in this room throughout the day ☀️
Ever since I was young I always dreamed of having a nice bright home that just shone the morning sun rays thoughout the whole house, and now I have exactly that 🫶🏻
I adore our master bedroom so much, it’s such a cozy space! I can’t wait to add some more personal touches though..
I’ve still to decorate our bedside tables, and we also need to organise some built in wardrobes! I don’t really show the left hand side of the room as at the moment they are just unappealing 🙈 we have a bulk head in both bedrooms, so in the gap we just have some portable clothing rails up for our clothes!
Once the wardrobes are sorted then I will start thinking about some decor, panelling and some paint probably 🤞🏼

I absolutely adore the sunlight that shines in this room throughout the day ☀️
Ever since I was young I always dreamed of having a nice bright home that just shone the morning sun rays thoughout the whole house, and now I have exactly that 🫶🏻
I adore our master bedroom so much, it’s such a cozy space! I can’t wait to add some more personal touches though..
I’ve still to decorate our bedside tables, and we also need to organise some built in wardrobes! I don’t really show the left hand side of the room as at the moment they are just unappealing 🙈 we have a bulk head in both bedrooms, so in the gap we just have some portable clothing rails up for our clothes!
Once the wardrobes are sorted then I will start thinking about some decor, panelling and some paint probably 🤞🏼

Welcome to our master bedroom!
We have chosen to go with a neutral palette by adding a beige bedframe and adding the warmth of wood tones in our furnishings which adds a touch of natural elegance.
Exciting updates are in the works – we are envisioning luxurious, hotel-like curtains that will drape our space in style along with a crystal chandelier. The walls are also in need of a burst of personality with a splash of color via paint or wallpaper.
In the meantime, we're relishing the subtle infusion of colour with our sage green duvet set. It's amazing how a simple addition can make a difference. Stay tuned as our master bedroom evolves into a haven of comfort and style! 🌿💫

I’ve liked everything I’ve had from Dusk although I’ve knocked off one star as there’s a slightly blemish on the headboard - not a mark but more the fabric being slightly threadbare in one spot. Easy to put together though - my partner managed it by himself and had no trouble with attaching the wings, which some reviewers said were difficult

Very pleased with the bed and delivery. I would highly recommend it love the quirky zip on the back of the head board where the flats are stored great idea ! I do find though the bottom of the bed having a fabric bit to be a pain as I would have preferred a solid one. However the bed its self is perfect and very sturdy and gives plenty room for storage.
