How to clean white cushions?

It’s no secret that white is the most notorious colour for keeping clean. Follow these simple steps to keep your white cushions white for longer:

  • Step 1: Before you begin, always check the care label to see whether your cushions are machine washable. If so, proceed with the label’s instructions. Alternatively, handwashing your cushion covers can also provide successful results. 
  • Step 2: Spot-treat any stains with a gentle stain remover before proceeding with washing. Use light pressure when scrubbing so as not to damage the fabric or cause any bobbling.
  • Step 3:  Using a gentle detergent to keep fibres stronger for longer, wash on a medium to low heat to prevent colour from fading or fabric from shrinking.
  • Step 4: To avoid further heat, air dry your cushion covers either outside on a washing line or indoors on radiators. This will help to preserve the quality of the fabric for longer.
