The story behind New York Loft style

The New York Loft trend takes inspiration from the converted warehouses and industrial spaces found in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and even London’s East End. These open-plan apartments became the go-to for artists, designers, and creatives, blending raw materials, moody colour palettes, and multifunctional furniture.

This collection brings that same effortless cool factor into the home - whether you have an apartment or just love that bold, statement-making aesthetic.

About the New York Loft collection

Our latest trend is designed for fashion-forward home lovers who like to “live boldly and work dynamically”. Our New Yorkers are familiar with modern, fast-paced living and need a home that makes their day-to-day easier. Because of this, Josie explains that we’ve focused on “multi-purpose living spaces, which easily transition from working, entertaining or simply relaxing on the evenings and weekends.” 

Josie goes on to say, “The colour palette incorporates deep navy blues and rich brown tones, which are two key colour trends for 2025. These are mixed with pops of burnt orange and gold, along with natural textures, such as our Theo wool rug. This look is all about understated luxury.”
