Ascot Bed Frame - Sage Stripe

I orderd the Ascot Ottoman and I do like it. It's a functional bed, actual value for money, it's solid, and the storage is useful. But two things let me down, and neither is the bed itself.

First, there was a 15% discount code live on the site when I ordered, which turned out not to apply to this item. Then, about a week later and before my bed had even reached me, the same one dropped by 20%. I got in touch before it was delivered and asked whether they'd refund the difference. I said I'd happily take a voucher instead of a refund. The answer was no, because the order had already been dispatched.

Dispatched, but not delivered. It hadn't reached my door, and I'd asked rather than just cancelling and reordering, which felt like the reasonable thing to do.

Secondly, the colour name isn't quite right. I ordered terracotta - in the room it reads noticeably different to how it looks online (it's more brown than rust). They have multiple items with that colour name across the site and they all are very different tones. Worth knowing before you commit. The wait for delivery was also long.

I'm sure I'll be happy with the bed long-term but I wouldn't expect great service from DUSK in the future and it has put me off ordering the other items I was considering getting from them.

Very happy with our new king size bed. This is our second Ascot bed from Dusk. Good quality and looks lovely. Great storage.
