We’ve always loved making bathrooms feel a little softer, from fluffy towels and bath mats to those finishing touches that pull everything together. Now, we’re taking things one step further with something completely new for DUSK: bathroom furniture.
With stylish bathroom cabinets, clever under sink storage and beautifully designed pieces made to keep everyday essentials tucked away, these pieces help the whole room feel calmer.
Why bathroom furniture?
Bathrooms are practical spaces, but that doesn’t mean they should miss out on style.
We spend plenty of time thinking about the furniture in our bedrooms, living rooms and dining spaces, yet the bathroom can sometimes be the room where storage is chosen simply because it fits.
We wanted to change that.
Our new collection brings together the storage you genuinely need with the design details you’d expect from the rest of DUSK. Because a bathroom storage cabinet can hide the clutter and still be something you actually enjoy looking at.
And considering the number of bottles that somehow find their way onto the side of the bath, we’d say that’s pretty useful.
Bathroom storage for a calmer space
There’s something satisfying about a bathroom where everything has its place.
Skincare tucked away, spare towels neatly stored, cleaning products out of sight and the side of the sink finally visible again.
Good bathroom storage can make the whole room feel calmer, especially in a space that plays such a big part in the beginning and end of our day.
That’s why storage sits at the heart of our first bathroom furniture collection. From bathroom cabinets to taller storage pieces, each design is there to help make everyday organisation feel a little easier, and a lot more stylish.
Making more of under sink storage
The space underneath the basin is prime bathroom real estate, yet it can easily go unused.
Our under sink storage is designed to make much more of it.
By giving toiletries and bathroom essentials somewhere to hide beneath the sink, you can free up other surfaces without taking up valuable floor space elsewhere. It’s particularly useful if you’re looking for small bathroom storage, or simply want every inch of the room to work a little harder.
We also wanted our under sink bathroom cabinets to feel like proper pieces of furniture rather than something you settle for because you need somewhere to put the toothpaste.
Familiar DUSK favourites, now made for the bathroom
One of our favourite parts of developing the collection has been bringing some familiar DUSK designs into the bathroom.
Rather than starting again with completely different styles, we’ve extended some of our existing furniture families, including Ruby, Posy and Hattie.
So, if you already love the classic feel of Ruby, the charming details of Posy or Hattie’s more contemporary look elsewhere in your home, you can now carry that style into the bathroom too.
It makes the bathroom feel connected to the rest of your interiors, rather than like a room with its own completely separate personality.
After all, if you’ve found a furniture style you love, why stop at the bedroom door?
Bathroom storage ideas for every kind of space
Of course, no two bathrooms are quite the same.
Some have lots of floor space, others require a bit more creative thinking. That’s why we’ve looked at different ways to help make the most of the room you have.
A tall bathroom storage cabinet can make use of vertical space without taking over the floor. Freestanding bathroom storage gives you flexibility if you don’t want something fixed in place. And under sink pieces help turn an awkward area into useful storage.
For smaller bathrooms, it’s less about filling every available gap and more about choosing pieces that earn their place.
The best small bathroom storage should make the room feel more organised, not more crowded.
Style doesn’t stop at storage
Once the practical bits are tucked away, you can have a little more fun with the room.
Layer in soft towels, add a bath mat, style with a mirror, bring in handy accessories and suddenly the bathroom feels much more considered.
That’s something we’ve always loved about our bathroom collection, those finishing touches can completely change how the space feels.
Now, with bathroom furniture joining towels and accessories, it’s easier to create the whole look rather than stopping at the soft furnishings.
The next step for DUSK
For us, this launch feels like a natural next chapter.
Bathroom has long been part of DUSK, but furniture allows us to offer much more of the room than before. We can now help with the towels, the bath mat, the accessories and the storage that keeps everything else neatly out of sight.
It’s also another step towards where we want DUSK to go as a brand.
Our aim is to become a true whole-home destination, with beautiful, attainable pieces for more of the spaces you live in every day.
Bathroom furniture brings us a little closer to that.
And gives all those toiletries somewhere considerably nicer to live in the process.
