How do I clean my Feels Like Down duvet?

To sleep in sheets that smell as sumptuous as they feel, wash your duvet every two to three months. Follow our handy steps below for guidance on the best washing practice for your Feels Like Down duvet.

  1. Load your duvet into the washing machine alone, with no other laundry.
  2. Add a small amount of mild detergent, about a third of the amount you would put in a usual wash cycle. Do not add fabric softener.
  3. Wash at 40 degrees on a gentle cycle.
  4. Shake after washing to even out the filling. 
  5. Tumble dry at a low temperature and ensure the duvet is fully dry to prevent mildew.

How do I get a stain out of my Feels Like Down duvet?

To remove a stain from a duvet, first gently dab away any liquid. Then tie the stained part of the duvet away from the rest of your duvet with an elastic band to prevent the stain from spreading. Blot with mild detergent and cold water, as warm water may cause the stain to set in. Finally, leave to air dry.
