How do I wash my throw?

Keep your throw fluffy and fresh with washes every two weeks, pre-treating any marks with stain remover.

Before washing, read the label of your throw for care instructions. If you’re still unsure, the safest bet is to opt for a cold or slightly warm wash on a gentle cycle with limited detergent or fabric softener.

To dry, wring out your throw and hang to dry rather than tumble dry. Or, if you must tumble dry, do so on a low setting and remove the throw before it’s fully dry so that it can air dry a little at the end. 

Cotton and polyester throws should be washed at 30 C heat to prevent them from shrinking.

How do I wash a fluffy throw?

Wash your fluffy throws on the lowest spin setting on a cold, gentle cycle. Avoid any chlorinated bleach or fabric softeners. Allow it to air dry and then shake it once it’s dry to fluff it up.

If there is any matting, brush this out with a pet fur brush or wide toothcomb.

How many cushions should I have on my sofa?

Adorning a sofa with cushions is one of the easiest ways to instantly make a lounge feel more homey. But how many cushions should you use?

You want your sofa to look cosy, not cluttered, so avoid overloading the couch with cushions. For a 2 seater sofa, three is a good maximum to stick to. This allows for a cushion in each corner as well as a centre cushion. Or instead, try an asymmetrical look with two cushions in one corner and a single cushion in the other.

For a three seater sofa or larger, five cushions is a good limit. Pair one large cushion with one small cushion in each corner. You can then feel free to leave it there or instead finish off the look with a centre cushion.
