How do I choose the right size round mirror for my wall?

Start by measuring the wall or furniture you’ll hang it above. The mirror should be slightly narrower than the furniture, leaving space on either side to balance the look. Consider what you’ll be using the mirror for, and if it fits the job, do you want it bigger for daily use, or is it more decorative?

How high should you hang a round mirror?

You should aim to hang the mirror so the centre is at eye level, typically between 145 and 150cm from the floor. If hanging above a piece of furniture, leave about 15-25cm of space between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the mirror.

Where are the best places for round mirrors?

Round mirrors work well above consoles, fireplaces, dressers, or bathroom basins. They also look great in hallways, bedrooms, or layered into gallery walls. You could also place the mirror adjacent to a focal point, like artwork, to create more depth.

What is the perfect size round mirror to hang above a dresser?

A large round mirror around 80cm wide will usually suit most fireplaces, just ensure it sits proportionally within the chimney breast or mantelpiece.
