It may have taken a while but the main bedroom is finally nearly finished, we’ve not documented this much as to be honest it’s just been a mad rush to try and get one room finally completed, the aim was to be in before Christmas 🎄 which we just about managed.
We’ve re plastered all but one wall ourselves, layed in new wiring and new coving (horrible job) and relocated the radiator to the bay window.
The biggest job being new built in wardrobes, we ideally wanted to use the ikea pax but unfortunately our alcoves were not quite the right sizes so we built our own using mdf, not quite finished with more shelving to add and then complete the doors. I must shout out rachelsorbyhome for inspiration for these, not quite to their standards though 👌🏼
It’s soooo nice to finally be using a (nearly) finished, clean and tidy room and gives us a good push to crack on with the rest of the house now.

I had help to build it but it is stunning!

Took my husband about 2 hours to assemble on his own, which wasn’t bad considering it was a 2 man job.
Overall I am really happy with my purchase. The wait time for the bed was a bit slow, but I was in no rush so I didn’t mind and once delivery was confirmed I got to choose a delivery slot and it came early before I left for work. So 5 out of 5.

Gorgeous bed, easy to build with 2 people, would recommended investing in a ratchet that replaces the Allan key to make it easier. Overall exceeded my expectations, especially for the price.

Super king size bed with loads of storage- easy to assemble & getting a great sleep on it. Would highly recommended- came on the day selected. We assembled ourselves which was fairly simple. Wood slats are neatly packed in the head board - we thought they were missing from the order but it’s a convenient storage space too!
